Data Transmission Method and Apparatus - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18154515 titled 'Data Transmission Method and Apparatus
Simplified Explanation
The abstract describes a method and device for transmitting data in short-range wireless communication, specifically in a cockpit domain. The method involves receiving configuration information from a first node, which indicates the time or frequency resources used to carry data and a reference signal. The reference signal is a demodulation reference signal for the data. The method also includes transmitting the reference signal on a different time-frequency resource that does not overlap with another resource.
- The method and apparatus are designed for short-range wireless communication in a cockpit domain.
- Configuration information is received from a first node, indicating the time or frequency resources used for data transmission.
- The reference signal, which is a demodulation reference signal for the data, is transmitted separately from the data.
- The reference signal is transmitted on a different time-frequency resource that does not overlap with another resource.
Potential applications of this technology:
- Short-range wireless communication in cockpit domains, such as in aircraft or other vehicles.
- Communication between different nodes within a cockpit domain, such as between instruments, control systems, or displays.
Problems solved by this technology:
- Efficient and reliable data transmission in a short-range wireless communication system.
- Avoiding interference between different time-frequency resources used for data transmission.
- Ensuring accurate demodulation of the transmitted data by providing a separate reference signal.
Benefits of this technology:
- Improved data transmission efficiency and reliability in a cockpit domain.
- Reduced interference between different time-frequency resources, leading to better overall system performance.
- Enhanced accuracy in demodulating the transmitted data by using a separate reference signal.
Original Abstract Submitted
A data transmission method and apparatus that may be applied to short-range wireless communication, for example, a cockpit domain includes receiving at least one piece of first configuration information from a first node, where the at least one piece of first configuration information indicates at least one of a first time-domain resource or a first frequency domain resource, where the first time-domain resource or the first frequency domain resource is used to carry first data and a first reference signal, and where the first reference signal is a demodulation reference signal of the first data; and transmitting the first reference signal on a second time-frequency resource, where the second time-frequency resource does not overlap a third time-frequency resource.
