The method includes: determining a second display content to be displayed in addition to a first display content currently displayed; controlling, based on the second display content, the retractable display screen to stretch, for adding a display region beyond a current display region used for displaying the first display content; and displaying the second display content in the added display region, and continuing displaying the first display content in the current display region.
