The abstract describes a mobile device that uses signals from multiple satellites to determine its position. If there is a disruption in the carrier phase (a measurement used in positioning), the device can generate a continuous carrier phase using its historical data. For example, the device tracks the carrier phase and calculates its position at one point in time. If a disruption is detected later on, the device uses the previous position estimate and carrier phase information to resolve the issue.
