GAS FILLING METHOD - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240102612 titled 'GAS FILLING METHOD

Simplified Explanation

The gas filling method described in the patent application involves filling a tank with gas from an accumulator through a pipe. Here is a simplified explanation of the abstract:

  • Temperature separation pressure detecting step: This step involves detecting whether the pressure in the tank has reached a specific temperature separation pressure during the gas filling process.
  • Pressure rise rate increasing step: After the pressure in the tank has reached the temperature separation pressure, the method involves filling the tank with gas by increasing the pressure rise rate.
    • Potential Applications:**

- Gas storage and distribution systems - Automotive fuel tank filling systems

    • Problems Solved:**

- Efficient and controlled gas filling process - Preventing overfilling or underfilling of tanks

    • Benefits:**

- Improved safety during gas filling - Optimal utilization of gas storage capacity

    • Potential Commercial Applications:**

- Gas stations - Industrial gas storage facilities

    • Possible Prior Art:**

There may be prior art related to gas filling methods using pressure detection and control systems, but specific examples are not provided in this patent application.

    • Unanswered Questions:**
  • How does the temperature separation pressure affect the gas filling process?
  • Are there any specific safety measures in place to prevent accidents during the gas filling process?

Original Abstract Submitted

a gas filling method for filling a tank with gas by supplying the gas from an accumulator to the tank through a pipe includes: a temperature separation pressure detecting step of detecting whether the pressure in the tank has reached a temperature separation pressure during filling of the tank with the gas; and a pressure rise rate increasing step of filling the tank with the gas by increasing the pressure rise rate of the pressure in the tank after the pressure in the tank has reached the temperature separation pressure.
