The abstract describes a method involving a mobile device and a wireless device. The mobile device receives a signal from a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) and also receives a message from the wireless device via a PC5 interface. This message contains the location of a reference structure. The method then determines whether the GNSS signal is a spoofing signal by comparing the location of the reference structure with the location of the mobile device determined from the GNSS signal.
