Original Abstract Submitted
an information processing apparatus generates print data for execution of print processing. an application provides an instruction for displaying an interface for making settings of print functions used for generation of the print data. print data generation software generates print function information indicating print functions which can be set on the interface in response to an instruction provided by the application. in a case where the predetermined setting information is not included in the instruction, the software generates first print function information including information on one or more print functions corresponding to the instruction but not including information corresponding to the predetermined setting information, whereas in a case where the predetermined setting information is included in the instruction, the software generates second print function information including the information on the one or more print functions and information corresponding to the predetermined setting information.
