DISTRIBUTED DISPLAY METHOD AND TERMINAL FOR APPLICATION INTERFACE - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18531058 titled 'DISTRIBUTED DISPLAY METHOD AND TERMINAL FOR APPLICATION INTERFACE

Simplified Explanation

The distributed display method described in the abstract allows different parts of an application interface to be displayed collaboratively on multiple terminals, providing more flexibility and richness in collaborative display.

  • The first terminal displays a first interface with a first part and a second part.
  • When a preset condition is met, the first terminal switches to a second interface that includes the first part but not the second part.
  • The first terminal then notifies a second terminal to display a third interface that includes the second part but not the first part.

Potential Applications

This technology could be applied in collaborative work environments where multiple users need to interact with different parts of an application interface simultaneously.

Problems Solved

This method solves the problem of limited screen space on individual terminals when displaying complex application interfaces that require collaboration between users.

Benefits

The benefits of this technology include enhanced collaboration, improved workflow efficiency, and a more seamless user experience when working on shared tasks.

Potential Commercial Applications

Potential commercial applications of this technology could include collaborative software development tools, virtual meeting platforms, and interactive presentation software.

Possible Prior Art

One possible prior art for this technology could be multi-user interfaces in video conferencing software, where participants can share screens and collaborate on documents in real-time.

Unanswered Questions

How does this technology handle security and privacy concerns in a collaborative environment?

This article does not address the specific security measures or privacy protocols implemented in the distributed display method for collaborative interfaces.

What are the system requirements for implementing this technology across multiple terminals?

The article does not provide information on the hardware or software requirements needed to support the distributed display method on different terminals.

Original Abstract Submitted

A distributed display method provides different parts of an application interface that are collaboratively displayed on a plurality of terminals, so that manners for collaborative display between the plurality of terminals are more flexible and richer. A first terminal displays a first interface including a first part and a second part. When the first terminal detects that a preset condition is met, the first terminal displays a second interface, where the second interface includes the first part and does not include the second part; and the first terminal notifies a second terminal to display a third interface, where the third interface includes the second part and does not include the first part.
