In some aspects, a network node may select, for a configured cell set that includes multiple transmit-receive point (TRP) groups, a TRP group modification associated with a cell group of the configured cell set. The network node may transmit the TRP group modification in at least one of layer 1 signaling or layer 2 signaling. Numerous other aspects are described.
