The BS may configure the UE to measure metrics based on CSI reference signals (RS) or synchronization signal blocks (SSB). The UE may measure the CSI-RS or SSB to determine CSI metrics including at least one downlink metric and at least one uplink metric for at least one set of uplink panel identifiers (IDs). The UE may transmit the joint CSI report including the at least one downlink metric, the at least one uplink metric, and the set of uplink panel IDs associated with the at least one uplink metric.
