STATOR - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18212534 titled 'STATOR
Simplified Explanation
The abstract describes a stator, which is a component of an electric motor or generator. The stator includes a core with an annular-shaped yoke and teeth protruding towards the center of the yoke at predetermined intervals. A coil is disposed around the teeth, and a power line is connected to one end of the coil and protrudes in the axial direction of the core. The power line has a terminal portion connected to the other end, which is opposite to the end connected to the coil. The power line also has a bent portion that extends in a predetermined direction and is coated over both ends. The coil end portion, one end of the power line, and at least part of the coating portion are surrounded by a mold portion.
