ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR SECURING USABLE DYNAMIC MEMORY AND OPERATING METHOD THEREOF - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18168049 titled 'ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR SECURING USABLE DYNAMIC MEMORY AND OPERATING METHOD THEREOF

Simplified Explanation

The abstract describes an electronic device that includes an application processor and a communication processor. The communication processor is responsible for managing a resource memory and monitoring its occupancy rate to detect memory leakage. When memory leakage is detected, the device releases its network connection and initializes the resource memory in a non-flag area. After initialization, the device reconnects the network connection. The idle state refers to a state when the device is not being used by a user.

  • The electronic device has an application processor and a communication processor.
  • The communication processor manages a resource memory and monitors its occupancy rate.
  • It detects memory leakage and releases the network connection when the device is idle.
  • After releasing the network connection, the resource memory is initialized in a non-flag area.
  • The network connection is then reconnected.
  • Idle state refers to a state when the device is not being used by a user.

Potential Applications

  • This technology can be applied to various electronic devices such as smartphones, tablets, and computers.
  • It can be used in IoT devices to optimize memory usage and prevent memory leakage.

Problems Solved

  • Memory leakage can lead to performance issues and system crashes.
  • Releasing the network connection during idle state helps conserve resources and prevent memory leakage.
  • Initializing the resource memory in a non-flag area ensures a clean and efficient memory state.

Benefits

  • Prevents memory leakage by monitoring and detecting occupancy rate.
  • Optimizes memory usage by releasing network connection during idle state.
  • Ensures a clean and efficient memory state by initializing in a non-flag area.
  • Improves overall performance and stability of electronic devices.

Original Abstract Submitted

An electronic device including an application processor and a communication processor. The communication processor, for managaging a resource memory, configured to monitor an occupancy rate of the resource memory for detecting a memory leakage, release a network connection when the electronic device is in an idle state, in response to the detecting of the memory leakage, initialize the resource memory after the network connection is released, and reconnect the network connection, wherein the idle state indicates a state when the electronic device is not occupied or used by a user, and wherein the initialization is performed at a non-flag area from among the resource memory.
