MULTI-PATH USER EQUIPMENT UPLINK COMMUNICATION TECHNIQUES WITH USER EQUIPMENT COOPERATION - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18046307 titled 'MULTI-PATH USER EQUIPMENT UPLINK COMMUNICATION TECHNIQUES WITH USER EQUIPMENT COOPERATION
Simplified Explanation
The patent application describes systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication supporting multi-path user equipment (UE) uplink communication techniques with UE cooperation.
- The UE determines the activation of a multipath transmission configuration and identifies uplink communication messages for transmission to the serving network entity.
- The UE then transmits the uplink communication messages according to the multipath transmission configuration.
Potential Applications
This technology could be applied in various industries such as telecommunications, IoT, and smart devices where reliable and efficient wireless communication is essential.
Problems Solved
1. Improved reliability and efficiency of uplink communication in wireless networks. 2. Enhanced cooperation between UEs and network entities for better data transmission.
Benefits
1. Increased data transmission reliability. 2. Enhanced network efficiency. 3. Improved user experience with faster and more stable connections.
Potential Commercial Applications
Optimizing wireless communication in smart devices for better performance and user experience.
Possible Prior Art
There may be prior art related to multi-path transmission configurations in wireless communication systems, but specific examples are not provided in this patent application.
Unanswered Questions
How does this technology impact battery life in UEs?
The patent application does not address the potential impact of multipath transmission configurations on UE battery life. This could be a crucial factor for mobile devices that rely on wireless communication.
What are the potential security implications of multipath transmission configurations?
The patent application does not discuss the security aspects of using multipath transmission configurations for uplink communication. It would be important to consider any vulnerabilities or risks associated with this technology.
Original Abstract Submitted
This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support multi-path user equipment (UE) uplink communication techniques with UE cooperation. In a first aspect, a UE configured for wireless communication includes determining activation of a multipath transmission configuration at the UE. The UE identifies one or more uplink communication messages for transmission to the serving network entity and transmits the uplink communication messages according to the multipath transmission configuration. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described with respect to cooperative UEs and network entities.
