Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a base station, a buffer status report associated with a one-to-many sidelink communication. The UE may receive, from the base station, one or more downlink control information (DCI) messages scheduling one or more sidelink communications, associated with one or more spatial transmission directions, for the one-to-many sidelink communication, wherein the one or more DCI messages allocate resources for each of the one or more spatial transmission directions. The UE may transmit, using the resources and in the one or more spatial transmission directions, the one or more sidelink communications for the one-to-many sidelink communication.
