Respiratory Feedback For Improved Exercise Performance - A simplified explanation of the abstract
- This abstract for appeared for US patent application number 18044660 Titled 'Respiratory Feedback For Improved Exercise Performance'
Simplified Explanation
This abstract describes systems and methods that use user equipment, such as a device or app, to ensure that a user receives scheduled notifications. The system can determine the current exercise being performed by the user and the appropriate breathing pattern for that exercise. It then monitors the user's breathing pattern using a respiratory sensor and compares it to the target breathing pattern. Finally, the system provides information to the user about any differences between their actual breathing pattern and the target pattern.
Original Abstract Submitted
Systems and methods executed by a processor of user equipment for ensuring a user receives scheduled notifications are disclosed. Various embodiments may include determining a current exercise performed by the user, determining a target breathing pattern appropriate for the current exercise performed by the user, monitoring a current breathing pattern of the user while performing the current exercise based on inputs from a respiratory sensor, determining differences between the target breathing pattern appropriate for the current exercise performed by the user and the current breathing pattern of the user, and providing information to the user regarding determined differences between the target breathing pattern appropriate for the current exercise performed by the user and the current breathing pattern of the user.
