a mobile terminal portable by a user and designed as a belt pack for use in an intercom network, including a housing with a port for a headset with a headset microphone and a headset loudspeaker, and further including a communication module, with which audio information can be wirelessly transmitted to other users of the intercom network. a microphone and a loudspeaker are arranged in or on the housing.
