WIRELESS COMMUNICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18538114 titled 'WIRELESS COMMUNICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS
Simplified Explanation
The abstract describes a wireless communication method where a first UE receives a switching command to switch from a source path to a target path, with the source and/or target path being a relay path. The first UE then starts sending uplink data and/or receiving downlink data on the target path upon being triggered by the switching command or a first message from a second UE acting as a relay UE.
- Explanation of the patent:
- First UE receives a switching command to switch paths - Source path is between first UE and source network device - Target path is between first UE and target network device - Source and/or target path can be a relay path - First UE starts sending/receiving data on target path triggered by switching command or first message from second UE
Potential applications of this technology: - Enhanced wireless communication efficiency - Improved network reliability through path switching
Problems solved by this technology: - Seamless path switching for better connectivity - Optimal data transmission in relay scenarios
Benefits of this technology: - Reduced data transmission delays - Enhanced network performance and reliability
Potential commercial applications of this technology: - Telecommunications industry for improved network management - IoT devices for seamless data transmission in relay scenarios
Possible prior art: - Prior art may include patents related to path switching in wireless communication systems
Unanswered questions: 1. How does the switching command impact the overall network performance? 2. What are the specific technical requirements for the first UE to switch paths seamlessly?
Original Abstract Submitted
A wireless communication method is provided, which comprises that: a first UE receives a switching command from a source network device, wherein the switching command is used for instructing the first UE to switch from a source path to a target path, the source path being a path between the first UE and the source network device, the target path being a path between the first UE and a target network device, and the source path and/or the target path being a relay path; and the first UE starts, upon being triggered by the switching command or a first message, to send uplink data and/or receive downlink data on the target path, wherein the first message is a message that is sent by a second UE to the first UE, the second UE being a relay UE on the relay path.
