In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may configure, based on a precoder and a total power scaling factor, a total transmission power of a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) communication, the total power scaling factor comprising a summation of a plurality of power scaling factors associated with a set of transmission ports of the UE, each transmission port of the set of transmission ports corresponding to a power amplifier (PA) of a set of PAs.
